Melodi Faris

Bio

Melodi Faris is an adjunct professor at TCU. She currently teaches child and adolescent development and has previously taught courses in early childhood education, children's literature, and play development. Dr. Faris earned her Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education and Child Development from Texas Woman's University. She has extensive training in the science of reading with an emphasis in emergent literacy and has conducted professional development workshops for preschool teachers on the topics developmentally appropriate practices, math for preschool students, and brain development in young children.
