Research for innovation and change

The Andrews Institute for Research in Mathematics & Science Education strives to provide an environment for innovation and change in mathematics and science education through research and teaching by TCU faculty and students. We work cooperatively with the College of Education and Davis College of Science & Engineering in our quest to serve the educational needs of faculty and students.
Affiliated faculty also collaborate with other organizations to provide outreach in the community through workshops, community events and programs for teachers and youth.
Our aim is to:
- Advance the understanding of mathematics and science education through research and scholarship,
- Assist in the recruitment, preparation, and support of mathematics and science educators.
- Promote awareness, appreciation, and understanding of mathematics and science in the educational environment and the broader community.
