From one generation to the next, the power of education shines bright at TCU.

Ella Plotner ‘25 is following the footsteps of her mother, Stephanie Plotner ‘08, who currently teaches at Tanglewood Elementary School.

Ella was inspired to make an impact as an educator after witnessing her mother pursue her degree full-time while raising her and her brother as a single mother.

“My mom has been my biggest inspiration and supporter. I would not be where I am without her, and I’m honored to follow in her footsteps,” Ella shared.

Their story is a testament to the strength, support and empowerment that education brings to families.
