College of Education Doctoral Scholar Programs

The American Educational Research Association (AERA) seeks to encourage scholarly inquiry related to education and evaluation and promotes the dissemination of research results.

AERA Scholars will be provided with an annual AERA membership and AERA Special Interest Group (SIG) membership. They will also be provided a TCU faculty mentor. AERA Scholars are selected based on their academic achievements, writing skills, and their commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the field of education.

As an AERA Scholar, the College will provide financial support and mentorship. Each student will serve a 3-year term, participating in research and scholarship opportunities each year at AERA.
