College Advising Corps

Campus Coordinators and advisers are placed full-time in underserved high schools, becoming integral members of the school community. They collaborate closely with counselors, teachers, and administrators to integrate post-secondary planning into the school culture, focusing on students in grades 10 through 12. Together, they create innovative strategies to engage students and, most importantly, help them and their families explore post-high school possibilities, including college, vocational training, and other post-secondary opportunities.

Each adviser and Campus Coordinator works to foster a strong post-secondary planning culture within the schools they serve, particularly for 10th-12th graders, a critical period for shaping students' futures. By collaborating with high school counseling staff, they enhance the reach of personalized guidance, ensuring more students receive the support they need.

The TCU College Advising Corps serves more than 40,000 high school students in grades 10 through 12 across 25 schools in Arlington ISD, Birdville ISD, Castleberry ISD, Crowley ISD, Everman ISD, Fort Worth ISD, Lake Worth ISD, and White Settlement ISD, helping students successfully navigate their post-secondary plans and achieve their goals beyond high school.
