Student Spotlight: Moses Contreras
Moses Contreras transferred to TCU to fulfill his dreams of helping children and adolescents, with a goal of becoming a professional counselor. He is a Ronald E. McNair Scholar and Youth Advocacy & Education Studies major, specializing in Psychology. Youth Advocacy students complete internships with community organizations, agencies and schools. This fall, Contreras chose courses that aligned with his interest in psychology, counseling, art and animal cognition. He completed his internship with Equine Connection Counseling, working at their Camp Carter and Cresson, Texas locations with Dr. Hallie Sheade and his faculty supervisor Dr. Steve Przymus.
