Melanie Royal

Bio

Dr. Melanie Royal has worked in the field of learning disabilities, specifically dyslexia, for over 30 years. Her experience includes working with students identified with dyslexia in public schools, private schools, and private practice as a Certified Academic Language Therapist and State of Texas, Licensed Dyslexia Therapist. In addition to working with children and adolescents, Dr. Royal is also a Qualified Instructor and has conducted training in several multisensory, structured language intervention programs over the years. Currently, Dr. Royal is the Training Center Director at the Key School and Training located in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Royal holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, both from Tarleton State University.
