Bio

Betty Grubbs is a Lecturer in Education in the College of Education at Texas Christian University. Dr. Grubbs teaches courses in early childhood programming, assessment and special education. She started her career in the public schools, and has served as a teacher, an educational diagnostician and a central office administrator. She also served as an Instructor at the Starpoint School at TCU and has also taught at Texas Woman’s University and Dallas Baptist University. Her interests are in early childhood programming, educational assessment and special education.

Dr. Grubbs is a proud alumna of Texas Christian University. She earned both her undergraduate and master’s degrees from TCU. Emphases in both these degrees were in elementary education and special education. She earned her doctorate in special education from Texas Woman’s University with an emphasis on special education and assessment.
