Alumna Wins NYU Service Award
Chandler Patton Miranda received a 2016 President’s Service Award from New York University for her “outstanding vision and dedication as Chairperson of the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development Graduate Student Organization Research and Scholarship Showcase.”
Miranda is a doctoral candidate and Steinhardt Fellow in the Educational Leadership Program at NYU. Before attending NYU, she taught high school science in Bogota and Barranquilla, Colombia, and was a Teach for America corps member in San Benito, Texas. Miranda earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Smith College and a master’s degree in science education from TCU.
