Welcome to the College of Education

Nationally Recognized : Award Winning : Leading for the Future

Award Winning
TCU’s College of Education is leading the way to prepare exemplary leaders for diverse educational settings. With two nationally recognized laboratory schools for children with special needs, an internationally recognized early childhood teacher education program, and a nationally recognized middle/secondary award-winning program—we are leaders in and out of the classroom. In addition to the two laboratory schools for children with learning differences, the College of Education has three institutes—the Andrews Institute for Mathematics & Science Education, the Alice S. Neeley Special Education Research and Service Institute, and the Center for Public Education. Choose the College of Education—and join us as an educational leader of change.

TCU’s College of Education also holds the International Reading Association’s Certificate of Distinction and recently received second place for Exemplary Culturally Responsive Teacher Preparation by AACTE and the Southern Poverty Law Center. Those who study in the College of Education benefit from the mentorship and teaching of professors who are nationally and internationally known for their research and scholarly activities.

We hope you will consider teacher education and being a leader for change. Contact the Undergraduate Office at any time between 8-5 p.m. or email us at coe@tcu.edu.
